Snow Emergency Guidelines
|
| |
A snow emergency in Lockland is in effect whenever a snow emergency is declared in the City of Cincinnati. With or without a snow emergency, primary streets (designated as snow emergency routes - see list below) will be plowed and treated first, secondary streets will be plowed when all primary streets have been cleared. Even if a snow emergency is not declared, it is advisable to park your cars off the street if snow is expected.

Shoveling Snow |
| |
Do not shovel snow into the street! Pushing snow into the right-of-way is strictly prohibited and violators may be cited. It is also advisable to not shovel your driveway until the snow plow has passed. The Village is not responsible for snow that is plowed from the street and redeposited into private driveways. Plow drivers have very little control as to where the snow can go and may have to make a number of passes to complete the job satisfactorily. |
